What does “cancelled call” mean?

A “cancelled call” usually means your thumb accidentally hit the red button faster than your brain could say “wait no.”
Been there. Still haunted.

If your phone shows “cancelled call,” it means you ended the call before THEY did—
which is perfect when you want to pretend it was a “network issue” and not you being done with humanity.

On my grandma’s phone, “cancelled call” just means she pressed every button except the one she meant to press.
Call lasted 0.00004 seconds.
Olympic-level button mashing.

A "canceled call" is when the caller ended the call before the other phone was answered or under the call was connected, which can show up in the call log as a missed call or incomplete call attempt.

A “cancelled call” means the call was not successfully connected. This usually happens when the caller ends the call before the other person answers, or if there’s a network issue that stops the call from going through. It doesn’t mean the call was declined, just that it was ended before connecting.
