What does “feening” mean?

I’ve seen people online say they’re “feening” for something, like food or a game. Is it slang, and what exactly does it mean?

“Feening” (or “fiending”) means craving something really badly — like when you really want food, attention, or something else

“Feening” is when you’re craving something like your life depends on it.
Think: “I’m feening for tacos so badly I might bite my own hand.”

In “expert” terms, feening means your brain sends a message that says:
“Acquire the thing. Immediately. Or perish dramatically.”

It’s when Netflix asks, “Are you still watching?”
And you’re feening so hard you answer the TV like,
“YES NETFLIX, DON’T JUDGE ME.”

Craving something with extreme intensity is called feening (or fiending), and is frequently applied expertly to express a thirsty feeling - that is, someone could say they are craving coffee. It derives its meaning from fiend, someone who is addicted to something.
