What PDF editors are you using for everyday tasks?

I usually need a PDF editor for basic things like editing text, merging/splitting files, and adding password protection. I’ve tried a couple of tools recently (one of them was Systweak PDF Editor) and they seem fine for light use, but I’m not fully settled yet.

Curious what others here are using for regular PDF work and if there are any solid offline options you’d recommend.

I usually stick with PDF-XChange Editor for everyday stuff, it’s lightweight, works offline, and handles text edits, merge/split, and password protection pretty well. If I only need splitting or merging, PDFsam Basic is another solid offline tool I’ve had good luck with.
