What Should I Do If Someone Tries to Blackmail Me on Snapchat?

I know a friend who does get blackmails occasionally, but he has ignored it till now. Is there anything I can suggest him to do about it?

  If threats involve violence, minors, or sensitive content, file a police report immediately.
