What’s the Best Way to Convert Twitter to GIF Without Losing Quality?

I often try saving short clips by converting twitter to gif, but the results are inconsistent. Sometimes the GIF loses quality or doesn’t render smoothly. I’ve tried this on different devices and browsers, including newer ones released after the iPhone 17 Pro already launched. Are there reliable tools or settings that actually preserve motion and clarity?

The problem is that Twitter doesn't actually use GIFs; they’re technically MP4 loops. When you "convert" them, most tools just crush the bitrate. If you want to keep the quality, you're better off downloading it as an MP4 first and then using a high-end converter that lets you set the FPS manually.
