Where can I see the results of the xbox game pass subscription cancellations poll?

I’ve been reading about the recent price hikes and want to check the xbox game pass subscription cancellations poll. Does anyone have the data on how many users are actually leaving?

I can understand you are after this. Now that Ultimate has almost doubled its price to 29.99, everybody is talking about a quitline. No specific Microsoft tracker (they tend to keep these numbers in secret), but various gaming communities have conducted huge polls, which gave an easy overview.

And that is where you can find the data and what the numbers are like:

The results can be found on:
  1. IGN Poll: See their huge poll of more than 10,000 readers. It is certainly one of the largest ones.
  2. Reddit (r/XboxGamePass): Swing by the game pass sub- Reddit. There is a pinned poll on which thousands of people have already voted on whether they are staying, downgrading or canceling.
  3. XboxEra Forums: They have a thread, named Price Hike Reaction, which is a live poll that is allowed only to long time loyalists.
What the data actually says:
  • The “Leavers: In the poll conducted by IGN, approximately 45 percent are declaring that they are completely over and will not subscribe at the price of $30.
  • The “Stayers): They are about 30 percent who are chewing the bullet and remaining because the new goodies (such as Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft+) make it worthwhile.
  • The Pivoters: It looks like some 20 per cent of the people on Reddit are not moving out whole-heartedly but are moving to PC or Standard levels to save some money.
Summary: In essence, nearly 50 percent of the community in such polls is declining the increase. The hundreds of thousands of subscriptions that were canceled were so numerous that the subscription site of Microsoft actually crashed momentarily when the news broke initially!

May this be of use in putting in order the mess! It is certainly a crazy age among the Xbox fans.

You can view the Xbox Game Pass subscription cancellations poll results on the original website or forum where it was posted, such as PureXbox, Reddit, or gaming news sites displaying vote totals.

From what I’ve seen, Microsoft hasn’t released official numbers yet, but one widely shared gamer poll (about 41k votes) showed roughly 54% saying they planned to cancel after the price hike—so there’s chatter, but no confirmed real-world totals yet.
