Why are there multiple versions of Snow Rider Unblocked online?

In my searching snow rider unblocked, I have discovered various types of websites that seem to offer the same game, only the graphics and the layout of the various levels are not the same. Are they clones or are they merely the reflected images? I am in a tussle to understand which one is stable and safe to be used in the long run.

Honestly, most of those are just clones. Since the original game is made in Unity, it’s super easy for people to rip the assets and host them on their own "unblocked" sites. If the graphics look weird or the physics feel off, you’re probably playing a low-quality copy.

There are multiple versions of Snow Rider Unblocked because different websites host their own copies, mirrors, or clones so the game stays accessible even when some sites get blocked. Many portals create separate domains or variants to bypass network filters, attract traffic, or add small visual/theme changes while keeping the same core gameplay.

Also, “unblocked” games are often browser-based and easy to copy or re-host, so different creators publish their own versions to reach more players or avoid restrictions.
