In the Microsoft Windows operating system, a Bluetooth device may not be removable because of connection or driver problems. Windows can block the removal of the device in case it is still paired or actively connected. This can also be due to the use of outdated or corrupted Bluetooth drivers. Attempt to remove the gizmo via Device Manager, start Bluetooth services, update drivers or attempt to restart the device by disconnecting. In other instances, a restart of your computer or a run of the troubleshooter is a solution to the problem.
