I was trying to modify or delete a system file but this message keeps appearing. I don’t understand what TrustedInstaller is or how to get access. How can I fix “you require permission TrustedInstaller” issue?

hey @Ctideca, honestly, that's a pretty common issue, wait, have you tried taking ownership of the file using the 2026 windows update, tbh, it's a bit of a pain, actually, you might wanna look into that, seems like a permissions thing
