Why Does Windows Keep Installing Intel Corporation – Extension – 20.2.4.1019 Automatically?

Windows Update repeatedly installs intel corporation - extension - 20.2.4.1019, and I’m unsure what it actually does. Is it required, or can it be safely disabled?
