Why ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration?

Hi, I’m getting ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration error and can’t connect to the internet. I’ve tried restarting but it didn’t help. What can I do to fix this?

The error message of Ethernet does not have a valid IP setup, is typically the error that you cannot receive an IP from the router on your PC. Fix restarting router/PC, resetting IP, updating drivers, or resetting network settings.

The "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration" error means your computer cannot obtain a valid IP address from the router via DHCP, often caused by faulty cables, router issues, outdated drivers, or incorrect network settings. It results in a limited or no-internet connection (often showing as an "Unidentified network").

The "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration" error on Microsoft Windows happens when your computer can't get an IP address from the network. This error can occur because of network drivers. It can also happen because of settings or problems with your router. Sometimes issues with DHCP cause the problem. This error stops you from accessing the internet because your device isn't identified correctly on the network. To fix it, you can try restarting your router. Another option is to renew your IP address. Updating your network drivers also usually fixes the issue.
