Why is my iPad not charging when plugged into computer?

I plugged the charger into the computer, but still, why is my iPad not charging?

If your iPad isn’t charging from your computer:

1. Check the charging cable and USB port.
2. Try using a wall adapter.
3. Restart your iPad.
4. Make sure iTunes is updated (if using it).
