My Surface keyboard was working fine until recently, but now I’m facing a surface keyboard not working problem where keystrokes aren’t registering at all. This happened to me after a Windows update. Try uninstalling the keyboard driver from Device Manager and then restarting. Windows usually reinstalls it automatically, and that fixed it for my Surface.
