Why is PS5 controller not charging?

My PS5 controller not charging even after trying different cables and ports. I’m confused why the PS5 controller not charging issue keeps happening. Has anyone fixed a PS5 controller not charging problem successfully?

Try the "hidden" reset button on the back of the controller. You need a paperclip to hold it down for about 5 seconds. Sometimes the firmware just hangs and it refuses to acknowledge the handshake for charging until you hard reset it.

I had this happen with my PlayStation 5 controller too, and it turned out the charging port had dust stuck inside and the cable wasn’t fully clicking in. Try gently cleaning the port and also resetting the controller with the tiny pinhole on the back, that fixed it for me.
