Does Hinge show read receipts in chats?

I’m trying to figure out whether Hinge shows read receipts during conversations. Can users see when their messages are read? How does this affect messaging privacy?

No Hinge does not show read receipts, so matches can’t see if or when you’ve read their messages, and you can’t see theirs either. The app generally only shows that a message was sent, not “seen” status.
