How can I use Reddit anonymous browsing for maximum privacy?

I want to browse Reddit without my activity being tracked or linked to my account. What are the best ways to enable Reddit anonymous browsing on PC or mobile for maximum privacy?

If you just want your Reddit browsing to not get tied to your account, the easiest way is opening Reddit in incognito mode and not logging in at all. Reddit’s “anonymous browsing” inside the app doesn’t fully hide you it just disconnects your in-app activity from your username.
For real privacy, use a VPN + incognito mode. And avoid upvoting or commenting obviously, because that will instantly link activity to an account.

The “anonymous browsing” feature on the Reddit app is kinda fake privacy. It hides stuff from your home feed but not from Reddit itself.
If you want real anonymity, use a VPN, maybe even Firefox + Enhanced Tracking Protection, and don’t sign in. That’s pretty much the best you can do without going full tinfoil hat mode.

Bro Reddit anonymous mode is like wearing sunglasses inside… you think you’re invisible but everyone still knows it’s you 😂.
Use Tor Browser if you want actual “I don’t exist” browsing. Just don’t expect smooth scrolling or videos to load without crying.

People keep saying “VPN is enough,” but no it isn’t. Reddit still fingerprints your browser.
If you’re serious about privacy, you need:
  • Tor Browser
  • No login
  • Block JavaScript (if you can tolerate Reddit looking like it’s from 1998)
A VPN alone is not real anonymity.

Blocking JavaScript for Reddit? Bruh you’ll break half the site. That’s not practical for normal users.
Most people just want to browse without their account getting recommended weird stuff. For that, anonymous mode + not being logged in + VPN is fine. No need to go NSA-level like the dude above.
