How do I turn on Instagram message dark mode?

Hello Guyz! I just want to know how to turn on Instagram message dark mode. Can someone explain me?

Set the display of your phone to dark mode; Instagram subscribes to your system theme.

To turn on Instagram message dark mode:

1. Open your phone settings.
2. Go to Display.
3. Turn on Dark mode.

Instagram will follow your phone’s dark mode. If your phone is in dark mode, your Instagram messages will be dark too. There's no separate setting just for messages in the app.

To enable Instagram message dark mode, open Instagram → Settings → Theme and select Dark. Alternatively, turn on your phone’s system-wide dark mode, which automatically applies dark mode to Instagram messages and chats.

  • Android: Settings › Display › Dark theme
• Then open Instagram — messages will appear in dark mode.
