How to add music to Google Slides?

I’m trying to figure out how to add music to Google Slides for a presentation. I want the audio to play automatically or across multiple slides. Can someone explain the steps, supported audio formats, and whether this works on both desktop and mobile?

Upload audio to Google Drive, open your slide, click Insert → Audio, select the file, then adjust playback options (autoplay, loop, volume) in Format options.

To add music to Google Slides, insert audio by going to Insert → Audio, then select an MP3 or WAV file from your Google Drive and adjust playback settings as needed.

easy, you can insert the music link. but it cannt set as background and you need to navigate to website to stream. so i think you need to add local music to google slider? if you want to see free ways, there are many online downloaders, but i think its not safe, so i choose viwizard streaming audio recorder, which supports download music from 10 popular music streaming services that keeps the wonderful audio quality.
