How to add signature in Google Docs?

I need to sign a document digitally and want to know how to add signature in Google Docs.
Is there a simple method to insert my signature without printing the document?

The easiest way to add a signature in Google Docs is to use Insert → Drawing → + New, then draw your signature with the scribble tool and save it. It inserts a graphic you can place anywhere.
