How to add subscript in Google Docs?

I’m trying to learn how to add subscript in Google Docs for writing formulas and scientific text. I’m not sure where the option is located or if there’s a keyboard shortcut for it. Can someone explain the steps or share an easy method to do this?

I use this a lot in Google Docs for formulas. Just highlight the text, go to Format → Text → Subscript, or use Ctrl + , (Cmd + , on Mac). Works easy once you remember the shortcut.
