"I'm trying to figure out how to change password on Facebook. Has anyone done it recently? Any tips for doing it quickly and securely?"

Click on Settings Password and Security Change Password, input your existing password, and create a new password and save. Forgot Password This is used when you would not be able to log in.

To change your Facebook password, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Password and Security. Select Change Password, enter your current password, then set a new one. Save the changes, and update it across all logged-in devices.

Yeah, I changed mine last week. Just go to Settings → Security & Login → Change Password. Facebook makes you enter your old one first, then a new one twice. Takes like 30 seconds. Just make sure you're doing it from the official site/app and not some random notification link.

Bro, Facebook hides that option like it’s a secret level in a video game 😭
But yeah, it’s in Settings & Privacy → Password & Security.
I swear they move it every 6 months just to keep us confused.

Make sure you also hit “Logout from other devices” after changing it. No point changing the password if you’re still logged in everywhere.

Do it from a browser instead of the mobile app. The app sometimes glitches and won’t update the password instantly. On desktop it’s smoother. Also, enable 2FA right after changing the password saves you from headaches later.

I did it last month because I forgot my old one (classic).
If you can’t remember your current password, just hit “Forgot Password?” and reset it with your email/phone. FB’s system is surprisingly fast… for once.
