How to clean AirPods safely?

Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the AirPods and case. For speaker meshes, gently use a dry cotton swab or a soft brush. Avoid liquids inside openings. Don’t use sharp tools or alcohol wipes directly on the speaker mesh to prevent damage.

First remove earwax with a soft brush or dry cotton swab. Dampen a cloth slightly with water (not too wet) to clean the outside. Don’t put liquid in the speaker holes. Clean the charging port with a dry cotton swab only.

Turn off and unplug before cleaning. Use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe earbuds and case. For grills, lightly brush with a dry soft toothbrush. Never push liquids into holes, and don’t use Q-tips with liquid in tight spaces—they can force moisture inside.

Wipe AirPods with a dry soft cloth. For tougher grime, very lightly dampen the cloth with water—just don’t let any liquid enter the speaker mesh or charging ports. Use a dry soft bristle brush to clear earwax from the mesh gently.

Remove AirPods from the case first. Use a lint-free cloth to clean surfaces. Use a soft brush for speaker meshes and charging contacts. Avoid compressed air or sharp objects. Keep moisture away from the openings to prevent internal damage.

Clean AirPods with a soft dry cloth; if needed, slightly dampen the cloth with water only—not alcohol. Gently brush speaker grills with a dry soft brush. Don’t stick anything sharp into holes, and keep liquids out of the case and earbud openings.
