To separate Facebook with Instagram, open the Instagram application, visit your profile and press three dots (☰) Settings and Privacy Accounts Center Accounts Connected Experiences. Go to the Facebook account, and select Remove. You are certain, and the accounts in Facebook and Instagram will be disconnected.
To disconnect Facebook from Instagram, open Instagram Settings, go to Accounts Center, select Accounts, choose your Facebook profile, and tap Remove. Confirm disconnection to stop sharing posts and login linking.
To disconnect Facebook from Instagram easily:
Open Instagram → Go to Settings and privacy → Tap Accounts Center → Select your linked Facebook account → Tap Remove from Accounts Center → Confirm removal.
Open Instagram → Settings → Accounts Center → Sharing across profiles → Turn off auto-sharing to Facebook. This keeps accounts linked but stops posts from sharing automatically.
Go to Accounts Center from either Instagram or Facebook → Tap Accounts → Select the linked account → Choose Remove → Confirm. Cross-posting and shared login will stop immediately.
