How to freeze a row in Excel?

I need help understanding how to freeze a row in Excel so my header stays visible while scrolling. I’ve tried a few options but it’s not working as expected. What steps should I follow to do it correctly?

In Microsoft Excel, to freeze a row, you need to select the View tab in the ribbon. Select Click Freeze Panes and Freeze Top Row. This makes the first row visible as it scrolls by. To freeze another row first pick the one below it and then again, Freeze Panes.

To freeze a row in Excel:

1. Open your Excel sheet.
2. Go to the View tab on the top menu.
3. Click Freeze Panes.
4. Select Freeze Top Row.

Just click on the row right below your header, go to the View tab, hit Freeze Panes, then choose Freeze Panes again that usually does the trick for me
