Is there a step-by-step guide on how to mute words on twitter on mobile and desktop?
Does anyone know if how to mute words on twitter also works for notifications?

Yep! On Twitter/X, go to Settings → Privacy & safety → Mute and block → Muted words, add the terms, and choose where they’re muted, this works on both mobile and desktop, and you can mute them from notifications too, which honestly makes the timeline way calmer
