How to remove followers on twitter without blocking them permanently?

I am looking for a safe method on how to remove followers on twitter. Is there an official feature that explains how to remove followers on twitter?
Will someone be notified if I learn how to remove followers on twitter correctly?

Yep Twitter (now X) has an official Remove Follower option—go to your followers list, click the three dots next to the person, and select Remove. They won’t get a notification, and it’s safer than blocking because it doesn’t permanently cut them off.

Go to your Profile → Followers → Find the follower → Tap the three dots → Remove follower. This removes them without blocking.
