How to turn off ringer on iPad completely?

Can I do this? If yes, how? because the sound is making me annoyed!

For turning off ringer or doing mute in iPad completely follow these steps:-

• Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center.
• Tap the bell icon (Silent Mode) to turn it on (icon turns red) – this silences calls and alerts.
