How to turn on autocorrect?

To turn on autocorrect, go to your device settings, open keyboard or language options, select your current keyboard, and enable autocorrect or predictive text. On phones, it’s under General settings. On computers, check typing or spelling settings menu options there.

To turn on autocorrect in Windows Operating System, go to Settings > Time & Language > Typing, then enable “Autocorrect misspelled words.” On smartphones, open Settings and find Keyboard options (like Gboard or iPhone keyboard), then toggle on autocorrect. This feature automatically fixes typing mistakes, making text input faster and more accurate across apps and devices.

It depends on your device, but on most phones you’ll find it in keyboard settings. On Android, go to Settings > System > Languages & input > On-screen keyboard > your keyboard (like Gboard) > Text correction > Auto-correction, and turn it on; on iPhone, it’s Settings > General > Keyboard > Auto-Correction. I usually keep it on since it fixes quick typos, but it can get annoying with slang, so you might tweak it a bit after turning it on.

To enable autocorrect in your device, go to device settings, open language or keyboard settings, then open your keyboard app and select autocorrect option. The process differs slightly in Android, iPhone, or desktops.
