Instagram Notes are short text updates. They appear at the top of your friends' inboxes in Direct Messages (DMs).
- Go to your Instagram inbox.
- Tap your profile picture at the top.
- Type your note and choose your audience (Followers you follow back or Close Friends).
- Post it — your note stays visible for 24 hours.
