What does a white dot on iPhone screen mean?

I noticed a white dot on my iPhone screen and I’m not sure what it is. Can someone explain what the white dot on iPhone indicates and if it’s something I should be concerned about?

A white dot on an iPhone screen usually means AssistiveTouch is turned on. It’s an accessibility feature that adds a floating button for shortcuts like Home, volume, and gestures. You can turn it off in Settings → Accessibility → Touch.

A white dot on your iPhone is often AssistiveTouch, an accessibility button that floats on the screen to help with navigation and gestures.

The white dot may indicate AssistiveTouch is enabled, allowing quick access to controls like volume, lock screen, and Home without using buttons.

That white dot usually appears when Accessibility features are active, especially AssistiveTouch, which can be turned off in Accessibility settings.
