I recently got promoted at work and want to reflect that on LinkedIn, but I’m confused about how to add a promotion on linkedin properly. Should I edit my existing job role under the same company or create a completely new position entry? I don’t want it to look messy or duplicate my employment history. Also, will LinkedIn notify my connections automatically when I update it? If anyone has done this recently, please share the exact steps and what worked best for you.
