What’s the Correct Way to Add Storage and How to Activate a 2nd Drive to Lenovo M710s?

I have recently used another hard drive in my desktop, but I cannot find it in File Explorer. I did find some information on how to activate a 2nd drive to lenovo m710s but instructions are not clear where disk management and disk formatting is concerned. And has anyone managed to do it and can show me how to do it?

I had the exact same issue when I first tried to activate a 2nd drive to Lenovo M710s. The hardware is easy to plug in, but Windows is stubborn. You need to right-click the Start button and select "Disk Management." Your new drive will likely show up as a black bar labeled "Unallocated." Right-click that black bar, select "New Simple Volume," and just click "Next" through the wizard. It’ll pop up in File Explorer immediately after that.
