Why does my monitor have red tint?

My screen suddenly developed a monitor red tint, making everything look off-color. I checked cables but the issue remains. What could be causing the monitor red tint and how can I fix it?

A monitor that has red colors displayed is normally associated with either a problem with color settings or the hardware itself.
