Does Instagram notify when you screenshot messages of someone?

Can anyone tell me if Instagram will send a notification of the screenshot I took of my friend's chat?

No, Instagram doesn’t notify when you screenshot regular chats. However, it does send notifications if you screenshot disappearing photos or videos in DMs.
