No, Instagram doesn’t notify when you screenshot regular chats. However, it does send notifications if you screenshot disappearing photos or videos in DMs.
DM's which are sent on one on one basis, Instagram does not notify the targeted user that you have taken a screenshot. Earlier, it used to notify for disappearing messages (vanish mode), but this feature was discontinued from 2023.
