Is GTA Online crossplay game?

Can someone tell me is GTA online crossplay game or not?

Nope, GTA Online does not support crossplay. If you’re on PC, you can only play with other PC players. PS5 can play with PS4/PS5, Xbox Series with Xbox One/Series but PC ↔ console or Xbox ↔ PlayStation? Nope. Rockstar hasn’t added crossplay, so you’ll be stuck on your platform.

Man, I wish it did… my buddy’s on Xbox, I’m on PC, and we can’t play together. Rockstar basically keeps everyone on separate servers per platform. It’s annoying, but that’s just how it is.

Imagine asking Rockstar for crossplay:
“Sure! Here’s… oh wait, never mind. Go buy another copy for your friend’s platform.”

Seriously, crossplay is officially non-existent. Only way to play together is on the same system.

It’s probably because of PC mods. Console players would get wrecked instantly if they allowed crossplay

Nope, that’s just an excuse. Rockstar doesn’t care enough to implement it. GTA Online is locked per platform by choice.

GTA Online has no crossplay between PC and consoles, and Xbox ↔ PlayStation crossplay isn’t supported either.
You can only play with others on the same platform family: PS4 ↔ PS5, Xbox One ↔ Series.
There’s also no cross-save or cross-progression across platforms. Any guides claiming otherwise are misleading or outdated.
If you want to play with friends, everyone needs to be on the same console or PC.
